Game Rules
Each question shows a player and a season. Your goal is to choose the exact club that player represented during that season.
How questions work
Each question presents a professional football player and a specific season. You must identify the club that player represented during that season.
- Format: player photo or name + season year (for example, 2018 means the 2018-19 season)
- Multiple choice: 4 clubs are shown, including the correct one — and sometimes clubs the player represented in other seasons to challenge experts
- Period covered: seasons from 2004 to 2025 — more than 20 years of European football
- Leagues: Ligue 1 🇫🇷, Premier League 🇬🇧, La Liga 🇪🇸, Serie A 🇮🇹
- Adaptive difficulty: players are selected according to your chosen level — global stars on Beginner, rotation players on Expert
- Timer: every question is timed — answering quickly earns an additional bonus

Fast-answer bonus
A correct answer given quickly can add a direct bonus. This bonus increases your score before the final multiplier is applied.
Combo and super combo
- The combo rewards consecutive correct answers.
- The longer your streak, the higher your combo multiplier becomes.
- A perfect game triggers a super combo with a larger bonus.
Final multiplier
The final score applies difficulty and combo bonuses to the enhanced base score, including fast-answer bonuses. The result is rounded to produce the round or game score.
⭐ XP progression and rewards
After every League game, you earn XP (experience) that raises your level. The higher your level, the more exclusive accessories you unlock to customize your avatar.
- Levels and accessories: each level unlocks new avatar items — outfits, effects and badges. Major levels (multiples of 5) grant even rarer rewards.
- Tournament XP bonus: finishing a weekly tournament in the top 3 awards bonus XP in addition to points — the higher your position, the larger the bonus.
- 🏆 Ballon d'Or: the player who earns the most XP over the last 90 days wins the GrintaGoal Ballon d'Or — a trophy displayed on their avatar and in the leaderboard, marking the community's most active and strongest player.
